Scar formation
is the normal way for the body to repair itself. Scars can never be removed
completely. However, if treated correctly one can achieve more rapid scar
maturation and an optimal cosmetic appearance. When a scar is left untreated,
or given the wrong treatment, it may become thickened, red and inflamed. A scar
is classified as mature when it is pale and flat.
Whether scars
are new or old, if they are still pink, red, purple, raised, painful, itchy
(known as hypertrophic or keloid scars), then one may benefit from continued
application of RégimA Scar Repair Forté. Stretch marks are tears in the dermis
and if they are still reddish/purple they too can benefit from applying twice
daily Scar Repair Forté. SAFE to use on all skins, all sensitive areas, even
the delicate eye area, all age groups, all ethnicities. For all post-operative
and trauma scarring ideally apply immediately following suture removal.
Scar repair
